So explain to me vzedts and everyone else who says this, if I don't do as you say, how do I get a TP2 with a phone, how do I get the TP2's camera, how do I get the TP2's GPS that I can use on a TP2 with my windows mobile ready GPS program?

How do I get a 6.1 WM device with a promise to upgrade to 6.5?

How do I get the screen the TP2 has, how do I get that screen with a pull out keyboard that I can tilt the screen on?

How I do I get all that the TP2 is with all the latest of the best components inside as well without buying the TP2?

I can go on and on like this but I think I made my point.

And btw I am not asking for anything for free, I want and will pay for what I will use.

If its anyone its actually is the carriers that are trying to get something for free by making me pay for something I'm not going to use, and there not even asking, there telling, and without giving me any other option.

In getting back to the device more over the whole POINT of this device is that it is all these devices all rolled into one.

Basically this device is the one of the most cutting edges of technology at this point as it incorporates a whole host of some of the best of these devices all rolled into one convenient portable device.

Which by doing this makes this a one and only kind of a device that cannot be had in any other way.

And btw as it is made the way it is made, it also allows me to browse the internet via a built in WiFi connection "and" use it as a phone as it was indented and was built to be used that way, as well as used in every other aspect, all "without" a data connection, it is only by Verizons mandate an all others who have now followed suit that I cannot.

And as I think I have given the impression, if a full time data connection is what you need or want to have and have no issue paying for it then more power to you but to not offer a no data plan if you don't want, especially for the reasons they are doing this, is just wrong.

I mean, they don't that for the text or any other function of the device do they?

So why does it have to be that way for data?

Again the more and more I read about this I think the very fact that they have used excuses that the phone needs it or that they did this to help users ovoid charges which are both just total lies proves even more that the reasoning for this is nothing more then they are just trying to scam more money and it just isn't right.

As far as the anti trust stuff grated I may not be a lawyer but for instance, say since my local cable company has installed WiFi everywhere, now that this is mandatory, they have forcefully stole that business from them without giving their customers a choice. That seems like it might be part of that. And as well for making me the real victim by making me pay for it twice, there must be something in that.

Then as well, what about all the local small business that have spent a bunch of money to attract customers by offering free WiFi internet access? Now they loose that business with no way to compete with that as their customers have been given no other choice.

And how about all the state and local government buildings and schools and libraries that spent so much time and money for WiFi, much of which has all been paid for essentially by us the tax payers so that they we can use devices just such as these for free for internet access, which was the whole point.

This unfairly makes all that a waist of money and now we have no choice but to pay twice for that even though we don’t really have too all because Verizon and the other carries are forcing us too.

And btw since I have been doing more research on this and have found that I am hardly alone on this.

In fact I have to do some more reading but there are many that are continuing to complain to the FCC about this and I think there is even a US senator involved.

I would think he would want to know what consumers think about this policy.

Amongst those comments you will see contacts on how to complain to the FCC about this too, as well as what others have written to them.

Also I think I saw a comment on how to write to the head of Verizon about this too.

Just to note, I apologize if some of this info is inaccurate, I’ve been searching and posting on the net all day about this an learning a lot as I have gone a long, so I’m pretty tired and getting kinda loopy at this point but I think and hope its all correct and in conforming to this boards rules but if any of it is not, I apologize.

I tell you what though, I think I may have found a new cause to live in life and personally I feel that any effort on this is not fruitless as it would seem to me that there “are” venues for this injustice and to just take this lying down is not the only choice.

We are not powerless in this.

Personally I think if enough people complain about this, it can be changed.

And with a 21 million dollar taste in Verizons mouth from the FCC already, they know this too.

And if you think this will cost us more by doing this...well with this as a perfect example, especially with every other carrier following suit so fast it has made our heads spin...what do you think it will cost us in the long run if we don't?
