If I'm not mistaken, and again, I myself am also a noob to Android, but I think there are file explorers on the Market that allow creation of folders; however, I've found that mounting the SD Card and having it show up as an external drive on the pc/mac is really pretty darn fast as far as file transfers.

I know when I had my Touch and had it connected to my PC (albeit, the laptop was WAY outdated and slow on its own), the file transfers took FOREVER. I actually took the time to remove the SD card and put it in a usb converter stick to add files. Connecting my Hero to my Mac is lightning quick.

and I wasn't bashing the Pre. I think it's pretty nice, but I think Sprint may have botched the marketing on it. I think it had/has way more potential than the attention that has been given to it.
