Thanks to all for pushing data to limits to figure this out.

It has to be possible to get it to this to work, my thoughts at this point could lead to physical grounding to an antenna source on the board may not be hard-wired to activate the actual hardware (FM BT) which would require one to disassemble the phone to conclude that the board makes that physical relationship possible.

The post I read that said HTC has an unlocking ROM for this makes me believe it is possible still.
