Wifi with proxy
Ok, could someone kindly walk me slowly through the process of setting up wifi access through a proxy, cause I can't for the life of me get it to work.
So far I am doing
Connections -
advanced -
select network -
select 'my work network' for both drop down boxes -
edit -
proy settings -
check the two boxes -
advanced -
add proxy address and port 8080
go to wifi -
wireless networks -
select the network and choose this network connects to 'work'
However this does not work at all for me. I have confirmed that I definitely have the right proxy settings.
Any ideas?
On a TP2 WM6.5
