1. Software\Microsoft\Shell\Taskbar
ConsistentClockOrBattery set to DWORD 1
2. In settings "Clock and Alarms"
go to More and uncheck "Display the clock in the title bar....."

That should do it.

But if the battery icon does not change to reflect the charge in the battery then you need to download "greenbatteryfix from PPCGeeks

This patch will display the battery charge in % 90%..
