You're confusing me bro... towards the top of your post the HTC rep states...
"I tested one of our Touch Pro2's, the Sprint one to be more specific, and found that there is not a harware combination to enter the align screen menu. It can only be accessed by going through the settings menu> tapping all settings> tapping display> then tapping align screen."
Then you say that the combination of volume buttons and screen touching may be causing this but... I wear slacks, and there's nothing else in my pocket to press the volume buttons. Also I would think a case would be more likely to press the volume buttons unless there is a case that has some sort of cutout for the buttons.
Also as I mentioned... I uninstalled pocket shield and the problem went away. I just thought it was strange that another member of this post had the problem resolve by installing pocket shield.
Hence my confusion. This is not an argument. I am just confused by your reply.
