Not a stupid question at all. I'm always looking up tech terms that people use on these forums. aGPS stands for assisted GPS. In this case, the phone uses the providers cell phone towers to help triangulate your location thus making it easier for the GPS radio to locate you. You will notice this if you open GoogleMaps for example and press the 'my location' icon. You'll see the center dot surrounded by a large pale blue circle and the message will pop up stating this is your location to within 'xxxx' meters (this number is usually quite high like 1500). As the GPS radio locks on, the center dot will move and the pale blue circle will shrink significantly and your location will be accurate to within a couple of meters. aGPS and GPS are both unlocked in the Imagio, thankfully.
