I extracted the cab and looked at it. It's just a few registry tweaks that deal with the A2DP bitrate. I really don't see how this could affect our issue, but I'm glad it worked for some!

Yes I lost my batt icon as well at first, actually it changed to a different icon, but I reloaded the task bar cab I had, and voila! Problem solved. Sorry it doesn't work for all. peace-br
