If it was any good for playing my h.264 videos, it would be my favorite software but it can't even handle that.

It might be worth checking it out again... Kinoma is freaking amazing right now, I think it might be way better than last year. Try it out just to see if you like it now : ) I can't imagine having a TP2 without it...
