I believe everything is on the phone, no way to save to the SD right now from what i've read. Hopefully that'll change soon. And I think I saw an app/task manger that let's you "back up" your apps to the card but don't know if that means you're still able to run them from it. Gotta do more research.

I 2nd the Advanced Task Killer over taskiller though I'm reading neither is necessarily needed but I like the control. TasKiller I was always worried about accidentally closing apps ATK gives more control.
Also try AppManager to keep track of all downloaded and installed apps and also back up any (unprotected) apps to the sd card. Not sure what that means exactly but im assuming it will allow you to easily reload apps after a hard reset (just a shot in the dark) or maybe (hopefully) it is like WinMo where apps actually run from your card. I'll look into it too
