I don't think I had any left issues with 9.7 build 35443 (

I was trying 9.7 to see if it had better flash support (
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544770). Flash was still flaky and while 9.7 is faster, I didn't like the web surfing experience.
I ultimately went back to stock 9.5.
Hope this helps. I don't think you'll find a simple solution since those are rare in WM. In truth 9.5 is a really good browsing experience compared to anything else I've tried.
