I love when people "raise hell" in my store...I kindly show them the exit and advise them that its probably their best course of action and chuckle to myself.

Wow, Sprint is acknowledging an issue that has been so bad of a product liability that is doing swaps to TP2 and you seem to have a hard time understanding why a person could become so upset?? You "kindly show" them the exit? I think you might even be the reason some customers do not want to deal with some of the "challenged" employees that work in the stores. These phones are actually used for Big Boy business by some people and I would surmise tht there have been potential business deals worth more money than you make in several years, lost due to a defective phone or network drop issue. When people spend hard earned money, they expect good products. You should be grateful that many customers do not switch to less expensive carrier service , different phones, or what ever.
You, choose to be a slave of a retail outlet , you are not some high and mighty decision maker . BUT,,,evidently there are some at Sprint (thank goodness) that are smart enough to recognize an issue every now and then and do something about it. I might even venture to say, that maybe Dan Hesse used a TP and had some issues and maybe thats why they are taking care of their customer base...... hmmmmm. Funny, when I hear or read someone like you , (who is usually so late on product info that all the store employess crowd around and asks a customer questions when they come into the store with a new TP2) I laugh also, because I just think of the fact that the majority of educated users know to avoid the stores in the first place... Thank goodness for telesales , online sales ,and advance exchanges......sorry, stepping down from my soapbox now
