Re: Sprint now replacing Touch Pro w/ Touch Pro 2!

One of my lines has a TP on it that I have replaced twice now for locking up after long calls or heavy Internet usage (over 1 hour). Don't make calls that long very often, but when we do, it gets pretty warm and I suspect they are overheating.

Anyways, my 3rd TP replacement in the last 6 months is on its way. Asked about TP2 and was shown their list which had a HTC snap as the replacement for the TP 1. I asked them how a Windows mobile standard phone would be considered a replacement for a Windows mobile pro operating system? They had no answer other than that's what the list shows. The replacement for the Snap is the Touch Pro 2.

On a side note, when I brought the last TP to them for testing, they had it for over an hour. They then gave it back and said there were no problems with it. I left the store and looked at the call log. They made a few 5 minute calls and that's all they did to test my issue. Went back in and asked them why they did this when I clearly explained it took well over an hour before the phone started flaking out. They then said they would order a TP1 replacement. They didn't apologize for trying to get one past me with the "testing". One of their techs even said I would be back with the replacement they are ordering as the issue I explained is a known issue...go figure.
