ROM... odd name to use, is it by any chance because it resides in the ROM memory of the device and is more like firmware like a BIOS?
Is that why you need a Hard SPL to hack it?
So the ROM can either be official or none official but the Hard SPL is going to have to be made by someone else?
I would assume that HARD SPL's are typically specific to given phones and operating systems too correct?
IE the Hard SPL for a Touch Pro is not the same as a Hard SPL for a Touch Pro 2?
So are these Hard SPL's widely made? Is there any best place to get them?
Are the Hard SPL's used for hacking anything else?
