Agreed, I think sprint really dropped the ball on this recent update, And a lot of people are disappointed and angry about it. And as to what dishe said about it not being sprint's fault... Thats about 99.9 + .1% wrong... Its actually sprints responsibility to take and test a device properly before releasing it to the public. (Look at Verizon and their 6800 for an example.) And it appears that not only did Sprint's Product Testing devision do a suxorz job at that, They also appear to suck at testing new ROM updates too!
Its not MSFT's fault, They just make and sell code. Its not HTC's fault, They are just making the hardware requested by the carriers and tweaking them to each carriers needs and requests, So they can run that code made by MSFT.
In the end, It is the complete responsibility of the carrier to make sure the devices they purchase and re-sell actually work they way they need them to.
