OK I was wondering about that. I believe the light sensor is on the opposite side of the speaker on the front from the LED, right?

I tried putting my thumb over this area to see if the keyboard backlight would turn on but it did not help.

I'll have to pay more attention to it at night to see if this is an issue. I do believe that I see this when it's not really light nor dark, so maybe it is a light sensor issue.

Should the backlight turn on if I put my thumb over the light sensor?
