Things seem to be working fine now, still not sure why my internet got lost and Sprint had no ideas either, thus the reason they ended up having to resort to a hard reset.

Can you explain more please about the items you listed about profiles, etc.?
when ever you hard reset a phone it erases everything and reinstalls/reflashes the current rom that is on it. It is impossible for it to go back to a previous rom without you reflashing it. It is very highly suggested around here to ALWAYS do a hard reset after flashing a rom.

You could have just done what i or HB suggested instead of taking it back to sprint. It's a fairly common problem that you experienced that is easily fixed.
