1. Buggy. You're lucky if you don't have to soft reset your phone once a week let alone once a day. Don't even try to lie, I was using different variations of them for six years before I switched.

on my sprint touch pro/alltel touch pro and on my verizon touch pro 2, I've gone 2 weeks without a soft reset or a clean ram...surprisingly with the latter a stock rom. I have to say that is amazing!

2. Apps. Windows might catch up down the road. We'll see.

applications - 3rd party software that can enhance the experience on a pocket pc...uhm...
windows has had cabs for years and considering that windows mobile has established 3rd party manufacturers and developers that produce cabs daily, windows is doing very well.
granted, we may never see a that's what she said app, but I'll take a throttle launcher, pocket player, coreplayer, tcpmp, iris browser, dorothy browser, opera browser, bolt browser, adobe photoshop mobile, and a panoply of others. Form fit function; windows doesn't have many joke apps granted but it has apps that enhance the user experience...isn't that more important? I mean heck iphone has been out for 3 years and you still have the SAME browser for it...wtf!?

3. Just not as fun. Plain and simple. Both platforms offer relatively the same things, just one is a blast to play around with and one was relatively boring.

this is just personal opinion, but have you seen my iphone boredom thread? I find it completely boring! And I do have the "fun" games and I am absolutely annoyed and bored. Primarily this is due to the on screen everything. Movement in games sucks, control of games sucks, emulation of games isn't that much better...
I think we gravely disagree on what we consider fun. I will say apple had my interest with zenonia, but now its out on windows mobile and now the iphone continues to collect dust
And yes I have an iphone I hate it! It will be my friend's gift in november
