I don't know the exact criteria to duplicate the issue. As soon as I posted this msg, I attempted to duplicate and it made me a liar! I will keep a mental note of the circumstances prior to my reboots from now on, but I can say it is usually done using PSshut because I loathe taking the battery cover off and I'm too lazy to bust out my drill.
