I don't think you can do that..

You can hook your laptop into your vista PC and bridge the connections, that would work.

I assume you want Wireless PAM, thats why your using a router?

If your device has WiFi, download HTC Mobile WIFI on xda. It turns your HTC Wifi enabled device into a wireless router with PAM for data.
