HTC Response to Verizon tp 2 upgrade

Hello Gary,

Thank you for inquiring about Windows Mobile 6.5 update.

I understand wanting to keep the device up-to-date. Regretfully, HTC does not currently have a software update for your device. The carriers request all software updates for the devices that they offer from HTC. Once the carrier contacts HTC about updating the software or changes to the devices, HTC’s Research & Development Team work with same department from the carrier to create the software. When and update is created it is tested by the carrier and then HTC host the software on our web site for download by customers free of charge or on http://www.pcdphones.com/uts_downloads.aspx. The updates are individually adaptered for each device and carrier.

apparently the press releases say tp2 would be upgraded may have been just aneffort to move inventory

As i stated in another post Vzw Teir2 tech says no date for upgrade now HTC seemsto verify this so hopefully one of our more ingenious coder will be able to resolve this issue

But we have to admit these TP2's are great devices
