Re: Skype

Just to let people know how things went (Verizon Touch Pro 2):

Installed Skype after copying the CAB file to my storage card - went without a glitch. Fired it up, logged in, and worked fine, except for the sound coming out the speakerphone (as expected).

Installed AudioRoute (again via CAB file on storage card) - also went without a hitch. Switched it to Earpiece, fired up Skype, and it worked just as desired, routing the sound to the earpiece.

Out of curiosity, I left AudioRoute running, and made a regular phone call. The audio was not good, although cell reception in our home is poor. I closed AudioRoute, called again, and audio reception was fine.

I then moved the AudioRoute file in Windows...Startup... so it wouldn't automatically start with the phone. I can now turn AudioRoute on when I need it for Skype (or whatever other reason I might have), and then turn it off when I'm done with it.

I couldn't try Skype calling a regular phone (no Skype credit apparently, even though my account shows $1.00 present, from when I first registered). Guess I'll pony up the $2.95 to try that out!

Thanks to all for the help here.
