In my case, since I will rarely be using Skype, I think the easiest/best solution would be to just not run AudioRoute in general (remove from Autostart). When I need to use Skype, Start it, make my call, and then close it.
Seems the cleanest for my situation, and eliminates the need for memory and resource usage for a program that I don't need running 98% of the time. I assume that this is perfectly do-able?
