You need to edit your
registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Opera\Preload and change the value of “RealExit” from “0” to “1”. This would prevent Opera Mobile’s process from staying memory resident after exiting the application and forcing it to really exit, thus clearing up some memory space.
Note: In case you don’t have this registry hierarchy, create it. RealExit should be DWord.
Note 2: If you're not into Registry editing, you can simply install this cab that will do the work for you.
