Do most HTC phones have seperate dedicated hardware to handle this, but we don't get the software to manipulate it? Or is this really just a software equalizer? Can anyone verify that it does not use any memory or CPU, and that the equalization is applied at all times without having to keep the equalizer software in memory?
Also, does this ONLY affect the headset sound? Or does it also effect the external speaker and/or regular phone speaker?
