You might need to install the HTC _CM_Killer Cab, what this does is force reg settings to get changed or override what will not change cause of windows mobile.

Just read post #1 and you will understand how it works.

Then reinstall the Notication Cab that apristel posted and see if it works after that.

I installed the cab and it did work, but I also had the HTC_CM_Killer cab installed.
