How does Windows Marketplace actually work on an Open Platform? The iPhone which is closed platform, Apple can basically add and remove a application from your phone without consent. They completely control what you can or can't do. If WM phones are open platforms how is Microsoft going to be able to control the applications, I already heard that they have a kill switch but I wonder how it will function? I guess they can make you open the marketplace first then chose the app you want within the marketplace making it login to a server to check statuses, but the lack of ram in these devices will probably suffer as a result. Are the marketplace apps even cab files?

Is this something that the cooks can clean up in the kitchens waiting to be released? Once I acquire an app I would like total control over it!
