My 1st ever SmartPhone was a Samsung Delve which I bought in late spring. I loved many aspects of it, but quickly realized that I needed more... MUCH MUCH MORE!

2 weeks ago I gave it to my wife and I went to buy the new BB Storm that everyone seemed to rave about. Umm, everyone that never actually played w/ one that is. The Storm was the worst phone I have ever used, and it immediately soured me on Blackberrys before I ever really got a chance to get a feel for them. After 3 days of hell, I went back to Verizon and swapped the Storm for the HTC TP and I'm in love with this phone!

A couple of months ago I bought a Netbook, but it's so painfully slow that it's simply too difficult to do what I need to do, when I need to do it. The TP on the otherhand is actually faster. Are the graphics up to par..? Nope, but it's a workhorse that does so much more, so I can "forgive" the lack of a pristine graphics chip.

I've seen over and over where so many users talk about how hot the TP gets as well as how quickly the battery runs down. If they were to use a superior graphics chip, I'm pretty sure that it would run a lot hotter and eat the battery much quicker as well.

Again, it's a tradeoff.

I remember my very first cell phone back in 1991, and being a Radio Shack bag phone, it was a lot heavier and did a whole lot less!

I respect the Iphone/Itouch but I would never trade my TP in....since it has a keyboard. I can do alot of full computer things with this little gizmo at full computer speed. I know that WinMo will catch back up, and if they made TP with snapdragon then I'd upgrade but the TP2 is not an upgrade at all, I'd even call it a downgrade, since you lose keys from the keyboard (lower productivity) and you lose pixels though gain screen size (iphone?)
