I'm surprised no one else really cares about this... I was so excited when I saw it on engadget. I'm glad they ended up having a way to view just the free apps.

I already had facebook on the rom I have, but out of curiosity I installed it from the app marketplace to see what would happen. It seems to reinstall it and then you can manage and update the facebook app from the marketplace as if you didn't have it before. Seems like a pretty good system.
