well from what i remember last time i had to do an official rom update, i took the phone to the store to update.... but i think you can download and activesync the phone and updated that way..

i remember taking it to the store since i never sync my phones.



so you may just get an email from sprint or who ever else telling you the update is available with instruction to the update.
