However, even given all this, it is still the fastest web browser out there for a mobile device, and still supports the most things on a web as close to a PC as you can be in a mobile web browser. Unfortunately it doesn't yet support our zoom bar, or gyro flipping screen out of the box (though it will work fine with the Change Screen program)

5.) Opera 9.5 for the TP2 has really impressed me. The integration with the zoom bar, the resizing/reformatting of text at various zoom levels, the text entry support, the general polish of the browser, etc, really are good even compared to skyfire. That wasn't the case when I tried Opera 9 on my Titan, but with the extra ram, resolution, and processing power of the TP2, it really shines. In fact, I find I use it almost exclusively now... It's just a shame it can't handle flash out of the box.
So in the end, I'm still looking for a ideal solution for flash too... even a stand alone app like the HTC Youtube one which works SO amazing!

A most helpful post and summary - really puts things into perspective!=D>
I'm going to try out Skyfire this week-end, and will see. I now have and use Sprite Backup, so I'll do that first, just in case there are unanticipated problems. But from what I've read so far, it seems that whatever its limitations might be, Skyfire seems to be 'well-behaved'.
