I think a lot of that had to do with the pre-release builds of Windows Mobile they were all using, and AFAIK they all warn you about this before you make the decision to flash.
Having said that, if the TP2 stock ROM didn't prove itself to be so speedy out of the box, I would probably be flashing myself. However, with a few minor tweaks and regedits, all the problems I have on the stock ROM make it perfect.
I do find the prospect of 6.5.1 interesting and the new TF3D looks like it's off the hook, so that would definitely sway my decision to flash a cooked ROM.

Yea, Ive literally tried them all and read on the ones i didnt try, hence the reason i didnt try em...... I agree also it was the builds, but im not only talking about 6.5, most of the 6.1 roms also have wierd things going on, i mean, what ya expect for a 2 week only been working on rom compaired to MS who work on it for a while... Official 6.1 was slow but didnt have wierd issues, custom 6.1s were fast but always had something wierd like the screen wouldnt rotate right, the task manager would dissapear, soft keys wouldnt work, jumbled dialer etc......... Been there and done that for 6 months with my pro 1 and my wifes Diamond...
then i also hated how a fix some how magically made a new problem, Its like were always going in circles....
Once again, everyone has there choice, this just happens to be mine, Im staying stock untill I feel like dealing with fixes and stuff..........Not saying i wont eventually do it custom, but thats not my intention...
