WOW so after 12 calls to customer service, 5 emails to e-care, 4 online chat sessions with e-chat - I tried E-care again and was told the following

The #**** is eligible for $150.00 rebate so you can upgrade the handset
at the online price. Starting October 01, 2009, Sprint is matching
Verizon’s prices for the Touch Pro 2 at $199.99 with a 2-year contract.
You can order a phone by contacting our Telesales department at (800)
777-4681. A Specialist would be happy to assist you. Alternatively,
you can visit any of the nearby Sprint store to purchase a new phone.

I proceed to call telesales and the lady says her system is displaying the online price of $349.99 I gave her my e-mail reference number and gave me someone's email address to speak to directly and reference my e-care confirmation...we will see how things go. If it works for me i would be glad to share the email because I know how tough it is to get this deal... I've been trying for 2weeks with nothing more than rejections. at least I now have an email from ecare quoting me that price !!!
