Ok first, everyone with SERO doesn't count. You get a great price, we get it. But SERO is less than 1% of all sprint customers. Meanwhile, in the big Sprint VS Verizon debate, it simply comes down to the fact that you're paying more (upfront) for the same product. Why do people use Rent-a-centers? Why do people get credit cards and pay 22% interest? Why do people use COUPONS? Because they want it cheap, they want it now, and they want it cheap AND now.
Cell companies make money off your contract, your two-year contract. They give you discounted and free phones to get your 2 years. Sprint's sticking it to regular customers, both in the 350$, and also in the "sorry you aren't business, we don't give a flying bleep about you, go ahead and go to verizon what do we care". This is just bad business. THIS is why people are upset. Not because we're saying we want cheap plans AND cheap phones, but because Sprint is saying "screw you, we're cheaper plans so we can do whatever we want and we don't care if you don't shop with us"... which is stupid, because they're hemmoraging customers. But whatever.
