The fact that so many people on forums said that they would just call up and pricematch or basically threaten to return it and then the publicity everywhere probably guaranteed that the price drop wouldnt' happen since if everyone who bought it at $349 knew about it then Sprint would be out a huge amount of money.
And they can still keep their business customers as well as offer new customers a price match while basically not having to give up money they've already made. Can't really blame them since they're bleeding money as it is and it would have cost a couple million if every single person got $150 back.
