Re: Camera Settings

I just upgraded from a TyTN2/Kaiser to my new TP2, and I must say that i was at first bitterly disappointed with the image quality.

But after changing the settings from the defaults, I am now very pleased indeed! My settings now are:
  • Max Resolution (3M=2048x1216)
  • Touch Focus = On
  • Quality = Super Fine
  • Contrast = +3
  • Saturation = +3
  • Sharpness = +1
  • Metering Mode = Center Area
  • Flicker Adjustment = Auto
I noticed that my camera version is older than yours, jimmiekain. So in the interests of clarity: the Contrast, Saturation and Sharpness settings available on mine go from +1 (minimum) to +5 (maximum).

I found that with higher Sharpness settings, the image is smothered with little crosses when you view at 100% zoom .. but dropping the Sharpness way down takes them away and leaves the option open for subsequent Sharpness tweaking of the images taken.
