If you buy it from a B&M location, the phone will get shipped out. There are LOADS of divisions for Verizon...online sales, telesales, internet sales, corporate online, corp phone, service/support sales, kiosk sales, retail sales. The mall here has a retail location (kiosk+support+ministore in the support)--this is the only "real" Verizon store. Order from them and it'll get delivered to you in 2 days (excluding weekends)
