Ok I'm experiencing a strange issue and maybe Calkulin can help me out.

I'm really not into the new UI just yet so I want to stick with 23017, I'm using the native OEM kernel that Da_G posted awhile back for the touch pro, it's 23047. I overwrote the xip.bin and other files in the Touch_Pro directory, and so I don't get a missing shared folder error in the kitchen I just renamed 23047 to 23017. I also downloaded calkulin's 23017 SYS. I put them in the correct places. It builds a rom just fine and flashes, but no matter what. CHome is missing, it's not even listed in the Today screen options. I don't use manilla.

I figured maybe there's a problem with the 23017 sys, so I downloaded another 23017 sys from ED, same exact problem, no CHome.

Basically I want to use the native touch pro 6.5 oem kernel with 23017. Also, any other SYS version works fine, but I don't want the new UI stuff.

Any idea what could be going wrong?

Should I just use 21859? When I get home tonight, that's what I'll be doing.

I ran 23016 for the longest and it was damn near perfect except for the occasional lock up when I ended a call. heh

Is it even possible to use the native 6.5 touch pro oem kernel with older sys versions?

What I'm experiencing is everything working great on the phone, except no titanium on the main screen and it's not even listed in the options, but everything else is fine.

It's strange...

Also, not to sound like a smart ***, but if you don't know what I'm talking about, please save your advice. I've asked some advanced questions in here in the past and got some really off the wall answers, only to have the person say "I'm not sure what you are talking about". heh, so if you're not sure, don't respond. k thanks :P
