FYI: I had spent tons of time to figure out how to have push email and eventually went with a hosted exchange service. Its $9/mo. however the piece of mind that all is on the ser ver feels good and all the time I have saved trying other methods that didn't quite do this. The service has also been VERY reliable. I have a link in my sig if you want to try it out.

I still am curious as to how gmail exchange works. Can you also buse Outlook to connect to gmail exchange server?
Yes starting last week gmail added email to the exchange server. so now its contacts, calendar, and email. Google has stated that it is only beta though for now. Correct it was extremely reliable with only contacts and calendar but the email portion has thrown it off a bit, sometimes it works flawlessly and sometimes you'll be waiting for an email even though its been in your inbox for about 15 minutes. I think they didn't expect this many beta users so the traffic is a little held up. Outlook at home should sync with exchange but i have been unsuccessful at making this happen. I will try again when i get home after work. you should always check out the ppcgeeks front page, they have had that announcement up for a week now.
