I set up the Gmail exchange on my TP2, it messed up my contacts (did not surprise me) and the mail was poky. Definitely NOT the Push experience I was looking for. It has pushed me back to FlexMail.
FlexMail is not finger friendly, not integrated into TF3d (no matter, I've ditched that). But it used IMAP IDLE with Gmail VERY WELL. No delay on getting mail from Gmail or any other IMAP server that supports IDLE.
