I have it set to "never". I thought that may be it but it appears that it's disabled.

They don't do that in store, I've been told so multiple times.

I assure you I'm not one of those picky, fussy people who returns phones for little things.

The first TP2 had a loud crackle on the earpiece, and if I remember correctly (all these issue's are blending together) it dropped calls frequently. It also had horrible battery life, the two I have had since are much better. The second had 10-15 stuck pixels all over the screen, it was so obvious that I never bothered making a test call, I just packed it up and had another one sent. This one is having microphone/network issue's on every other call, the other party hears either silence or static.

These aren't subjective facts, they would be clearly obvious to anyone else. So I must have really had bad luck this time around, because now I'll have to wait god knows how long to get a replacement.

The guy in the thread below is having a similar issue, although for me when the sound cuts off for the other party it will last indefinately, and calling back does not fix the issue.

I've also noticed that the sound will sometimes cut off on my end when I call someone, i.e. I cannot hear anything, and that when my phone rings from an incoming call the earpiece will play the ringtone instead of the speakers.

Strange issue's indeed. Any chance that a hard reset may fix this? I guess to answer that question you'd have to know what's causing this problem.

EDIT: I take back what I said. They do have technicians in stores, albeit only certain stores. I called and pushed on the matter, the nearest one is about half an hour from my campus, so I'll go friday after class and see what they can do. Who knows, at this point it's my best shot
