Even after threatening them to cancel my premier account due to various issues I got:

I am sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced due to this. The
phones offered by different service providers may differ as per the
network requirements and the features offered by them. These differences
may lead to the differences in phone model and pricing. Hence, it will
not be possible for us to match the price of the HTC Touch Pro2 with
that of the phone with Verizon. "
