I thought there is a setting in WiFi (there is just looked) that lets you set the WiFi to use more battery or less battery. I have used my WiFi and have the setting on use less battery and don't have a drain at all on mine. In fact I used WiFi a bit yesterday, bluetooth for 2.5 hours and then the phone so far has still 90% left after 20 hours of no charge on my extended battery
