With 1.04 you should have no problems with using any home screen you want.

I'm still working on the Start menu icons, maybe 1.05 will have them. As far as the google maps thing, I removed to to slim the ROM down some and also to let people install only what they really want. I like kb2 also but I did remove it from 1.04 also to let people install what they want,im just trying to give people a strong base for now. I do have plans on releasing a FULLY loaded ROM at some point.
