Re: Streaming IP Cam Video

It also may be due to an activex control or some sort of applet being loaded to view the feed. I have some linksys IP cams in which I cannot access from my phone due to an activex control not loading in the phones browser.

Try this,
Use a laptop or another PC not connected to your network locally, but sharing the phones data connection. Using any number of the available solutions on this site.
Try to connect to the IP cam from a "regular" web browser.

Also try setting the Trendnets stream port to another port. I can change mine to whatever I would like on linksys. Then port forward to anything. I use 1001 for cam1 and 1002 for cam2.

So if your cam is on 192.168.1.115 Port 85 local, and your ext IP is 176.17.1.124
then port forward anything coming in on port 1001 to 192.168.1.115 port 85.

Hope this helps. I've been there, and finally wound up hacking "coding" the cam itself to give series of images to simulate video stream. actually works better.
