Any program that will make the Omnia's backlight....
If you go and change these settings:
Under settings, system, power -> Battery Power tab, change "Turn off backlight if device is not used for" to 10 second, then UNCHECK "Turn on backlight when a button is pressed or the screen is tapped. Either wait 10 seconds, or hold down the end key to lock the phone and shut off the backlight.
Is there any program that will make the Omnia use this level of backlighting (I guess, none) when in low light situations? I find the backlight too bright in pitch black areas.
