Slick is a premature IM app, missing a few shines and polishes, but it has the potential to be a great one. It is fast, lightweight, and best of all, free! It supports away messages, file transfers, and multiple protocols. My biggest problem with it so far is not being able to send via enter key (you must click S on the toolbar). I hope they fix this in the future. Give this app a try!
