Yeah understand. Have you tried a 23053 ROM yet? Just curious, if not try out
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=50857 and at first you might not like the space it consumes (referring to the taskbar) but after a day or two I personally have found it so much more finger-friendly therefore so much more "usable" especially while driving and navigating my phone. I absolutly luv NRG's ROM's and flash everytime there is a new release but I do find myself going back to a 23053 version. To each their own, no big deal.
Regarding radar why not favorite a link to NOAA in PIE or whatever browser you use?
