Looks like Google is re-defining the definition of open source. Foolish me figured if it’s open , that means you can do anything with it. Right? Guess not. Funny how Windows Mobile, Palm and RIM (closed systems) have never had this policy. Expect some fancy footwork as this little agreement becomes more widely known. Snuggled right in the pages of Google’s Android terms of service:
Google may discover a product that violates the developer distribution agreement … in such an instance, Google retains the right to remotely remove those applications from your device at its sole discretion,
