I have both sitting here on my desk.

The iphone screen is wider, but the TP2 is longer top to bottom.

I slightly prefer the shape of the iphone screen, as you do notice the extra width whereas the extra height is not really noticeable at all.

The TP2 screen is very obviously MUCH higher resolution but the zooming still rocks on the iphone/ipod touch.
